Accelerating industrial decarbonization with durable fuel cells and cheap green hydrogen.
We create the flywheel that propels hydrogen forward
If we can unlock hydrogen, we will change the world. To get there, we want to create a virtuous spiral upward that propels hydrogen toward mass market adoption. We don’t just make hydrogen cheap, we make hydrogen useful. This means using technology to realize high-value use cases for hydrogen while bolstering supply to meet the new demand. Done right, the world will have high-value use cases like trucking, shipping, rail, and industrial applications, anchoring a framework that incentivizes more hydrogen supply, lowering hydrogen cost and promoting more demand. Then we repeat, and grow the market.
Our team
We love a good challenge. How often do we get to have our work directly forge a new industry? We are a team of materials scientists, chemist, electrochemist and engineers with deep expertise in materials development and catalysis research, assembled from the best programs in the world. We are advised by former executives in the membranes industry and mentors with prior exits, and investors connected to mobility, logistics, and shipping. Most importantly, we all believe in hydrogen’s potential and Celadyne’s responsibility to fulfill it.
Climate Impact
On average, a freight truck in the U.S. emits 161.8 grams of dioxide per ton per mile. Put more simply, just imagine a 5 lb bag of flour: that’s the amount of carbon dioxide a Class 8 truck emits per mile. We will be driving that down to zero with hydrogen. Then, we will continue doing so for shipping, rail, agriculture, grid electricity, and industrial heat. Combined, that’s over 50 % of the world’s carbon emissions every year.
